Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of cameraless photography.

During this experience, participants will have the opportunity to explore two unique techniques: photograms and watergrams. Photogram creation is a photographic process in which objects are placed directly on photographic paper and exposed to light, creating silhouettes and shapes that range from white to gray depending on the opacity of the object. Watergrams are stills of moving water. The flows, streaks and ripples are captured on photographic paper. These techniques break free from the traditional confines of photography and allow us to explore new creative possibilities and create abstract compositions with unexpected shapes and textures.

April 14, 10:00 - 13:00

CAMERA38 is a new space dedicated to photography, a darkroom community that offers different formulas for using spaces and services, as well as an extensive calendar of cultural activities, courses, events and workshops.

No prerequisites are necessary.

The cost of the workshop includes photographic paper, developing chemicals and chemical fixing and disposal.

Participants are encouraged to bring symbolic objects or objects of interest to create frames that represent them personally and make them unique (flowers, leaves, objects of particular or significant shapes, writings, semi-transparent objects). It is advisable to wear suitable clothing, as the use of chemicals could ruin the fabric.

Registration

The workshop cost is 60 euros (including the registration fee).
Reserve your place on Eventbrite for 10 euros, and pay the rest on the workshop day.
